商品説明※アメリカの現地出品者により作成されたため、英語のまま掲載いたしております。You are buying one rabbit covered dish. The first photo shows the piece under standard LED lighting and the small insert photo shows the same piece under a black light. This is a marriage of two colors made at the Summit Art Glass factory of Ravenna, Ohio, (1972-2005). The rabbit top is Rubina and the bottom is a blue and red opalescent slag color made around the same time as Rubina color. It measures about 5.5" long. The top is not marked but the bottom still has its original Westmoreland circle mark. We think the rabbit mold was originally owned by the Joe St. Clair factory in Elwood, Indiana and was sold to Summit in 1978 when they bought the St. Clair molds. The rabbit top is usually put on a split-rib bottom. We purchased this piece directly at the factory. The factory owners were Joann and Russ Vogelsong and we had gotten to know them over the years of buying from them. We saw it sitting in Joann's office and thought it was a great combo and commented to Joann about the good match and asked if we could buy it. She agreed and we have enjoyed this piece for many years. Rubina glass is expensive and labor intensive to produce. The ingredients to make this wonderful and unusual color are hard to obtain. Rubina starts as a light blue crystalline color. A “glazer” is then used to reheat areas on the glass. Where the flame hits or where the piece is slightly thicker it will turn a reddish color. Each piece will turn out differently. This color was made by Boyd in limited quantities making it rare and explains why you seldom see them on eBay.No damage found. All items are packed with great care and are usually double boxed. We love glass and do not want to be responsible for a piece of glass history being destroyed. Buyer pays shipping costs (includes insurance) via US priority mail.Combined shipping is possible on most small or medium sized items: however, combined shipping may not be possible on larger pieces or for combining more than two or three items. Please ask about the items in which you are interested for combined shipping before buying. We will make every effort to combine items, when possible, to save you shipping costs.Inv. #627
